Screen printed book, poster and t-shirt portraying people and places of Argyle Street, Glasgow.

Argyle Street is one of the longest streets in the UK, if not Europe. The narrative within this book is based on conversations and observational drawing made during a journey of 4032 steps through a diverse cityscape of shops, housing, industrial estates and municipal buildings.

The book was a collaborative final year degree project, made with Victoria Kastenbauer.
Screen printed, hand bound, edition of 18.

Argyle Socks & Sandals was awarded Student Illustration Gold at Visuelt 09, Norway. It was also shortlisted for the Glasgow 1999 Design Medal 2008 and awarded D&AD Best New Blood 08.
